Peace Lutheran Church of Plymouth, MN Extends Legacy Through LSM

Peace Lutheran Church of Plymouth, MN

Lutheran Summer Music has received a legacy gift from Peace Lutheran Church of Plymouth, a Twin Cities congregation that recently closed and sold its building. This generous contribution will go a long way in supporting young musicians and ensuring the continuation of LSM's mission to educate future leaders in classical and sacred music.

Expressing profound gratitude for the generosity and vision of Peace Lutheran’s members, LSM acknowledges the enduring legacy that the congregation has extended through its support. Their gift is a testament to Peace Lutheran’s generations-long commitment to fostering the musical talents of young people and contributing to the preservation and advancement of classical and sacred music. The congregation has emphasized music, arts, and education throughout its existence, and through this gift, this work will continue into the future through LSM.

Stefanie Fiser Kleven, former Music Director at Peace Lutheran, and a former LSM staff member, shared her sentiments regarding the impactful contribution, “I feel honored that Peace Lutheran Church chose to support Lutheran Summer Music with funds from the sale of the community’s building. Working at LSM through my twenties helped solidify my passion for youth music ministry, and I got to live out that calling while on staff at Peace Lutheran Church. My tenure there was but a small part of a rich history of worshipful music making. What a joy to think of the legacy that will continue through this financial gift. Thanks be to God!”

LSM extends its sincerest gratitude to Peace Lutheran and its members for this transformational gift. Please enjoy the following video that was shared with Peace Lutheran’s community.
