All LSM students will receive a $16,000 scholarship. All scholarships are open to both music and non-music majors on voice, piano, and wind instruments. Recipients participate in a major ensemble, take studio lessons, and contribute to the life of the department through recitals, etc.

Waldorf University, located in Forest City, IA is a small 4-year college that offers music studies in the Lutheran liberal arts tradition. The Waldorf Choir, founded in 1916, and the Waldorf Wind Symphony tour annually, and internationally every four years. Our program of study, open to music majors and non-majors, balances academically challenging coursework with artistically rewarding performances. An All-Steinway school, students participate in two choirs, wind symphony, pep band, jazz band, drumline, musical theater, recitals, master classes, and concerts.
