Alum Matthew Yee, of U.S. Coast Guard Band, Performs Internationally

Matthew Yee (LSM 2017-2018, Fellow 2021-2022)

Matthew Yee (LSM 2017-2018, Fellow 2021-2022) won the euphonium audition with the U.S. Coast Guard Band in February. He officially accepted the position and enlisted in the Coast Guard in May. Since then, he’s been on a national tour through the Midwest, played several concerts in Connecticut at the Coast Guard Academy, and performed in the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, one of the largest military tattoos in the world that brings an international cast to the Esplanade of Edinburgh Castle every summer.
