LSM Alumni & Staff Lead Houston Lutheran Honor Band

On Wednesday, October 30, the Houston Area Lutheran Schools gathered Honor Band members for a day of clinics and a concert.  The High School Honor Band was led by Prof. Robert Cody from Concordia University, NE, and the Middle School Honor Band was led by the Lutheran High School Band directors:  Michael Staub, Memorial Lutheran School, Theron Jenkins, Lutheran South Academy, and Jonathan Held, Concordia Lutheran High School.  Participating were 7 LSM alumni and staff:

  • Dottie Burroughs, 1982-1989, 1994, 2022, 2024

  • Sarah, oboe and piano, 2022-2024

  • Moses, violin 2024

  • Manuel, alto saxophone, 2022-2024

  • Jessica (Werner) Jenkins, 2001-2002

  • Jonathan Held, trombone, 1994

  • Kaylee, percussion, 2023.
