Sütterlin Takes Concordia Orchestra on Tour to Memphis Oct. 25 - Nov. 3
The Concordia Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Kevin Sütterlin (LSM Festival Orchestra), will soon depart for their domestic tour to Memphis. This EMMY award-winning ensemble takes great pride in its modern and inclusive programming, exploring and advocating for the music of historically excluded composers. Performances will include selections from the following pieces: "The Montgomery Variations" by Margaret Bonds, "Fòs Nou" by Christopher Ducasse, "Double Concerto in A minor" by Johannes Brahms, and "The Firebird" Suite by Igor Stravinsky.
